What logic does anyone have in thinking English should be the main language of the US? The country was invaded, and mostly stripped of it's native languages. At least Mexicans have origin with the natives of that landmass, before the US created borders. They should have every right to speak the language they wish.

Then they should have fought harder to keep the right to speak Spanish or whatever in the first place.

Why on earth are they speaking Spanish at this event in the first place?
It's not even their language.
Seems provocative. A children's event is not the place to make a point.
One side or the other.
Personally, I would have been upset too. But not in front of the children.

And, BTW, Mexicans, Latinos ... never spoke Spanish before they were
enslaved by Spain. They had the Spanish language forced on them and
to call it their own, like it's part of their heritage, is a f*cking farce.

There's no need for those kids to learn English, They can clean toilets. mow lawns, or pick lettuce without ever learning a word of English.

BTW, Spanish isn't a race.
