I've done some lock-picking before, and it was usually a little harder than what he did with the last one. Typically would take 10-40 secs per for padlocks & almost instantly for deadbolts/lock-in-knobs. However, I have no idea how he did the combo lock.

The combination lock looks like an exploit of a design weakness, where the release runs down the outside of the casing, and is accessible down the edge of the numbered wheels.

I have seen a few cheaper padlocks that open just by inserting the pick beyond the chambers and flicking left/right to release without touching the lock part itself.

Very clever however you look at it, and made to look far easier than it really is.

I'm sure he's practised on those locks many a time, but still impressive. The fact that he can open half of them about as fast as a key would do is almost scarey.

isn't a dead bolt cutter even easier than that? I hope so cuz I have a hard time with locks when I have the damn key let alone picking one with out!
