Coulda been worse, thankfully not. My guess: Looks like the traffic ahead was slowing down and the driver tried to switch lanes 'cause he/she couldn't break in time. Prevention: keep your eyes on the road! Not just the person in front of you.

when driving.. always look ahead not where you are. If you look a couple of car lenghts ahead you can react to a turn or quick brake. where the view is more open or longer.. look 1/4 to 1/2 mile ahead and if something happens right in front of you ....you can still see it and brake or turn in time. Same thing with Racing...well actually definately with racing..you will (in a short period of time) develop periphriel vision. yeah well i suck at spelling deal with it.
