Challenger Deep is approximately 36,200 feet deep. Marianas Trench is 36,960 feet deep. Where the hell is this place?

It's apparently a typo, not a misplaced decimal point. It should read 26,715.
Whatever that thing is, they should have caught and filleted it for dinner. :74:
