He's far from an asshole. It's the same premise as beating the shit out of a someone who hurt your kid, it's well and truly deserved. If someone has the audacity to pose as someone from any group that every day die for their country they deserve to get a lot worse than what the dude behind the camera did.

Its not the fact that he found him out, its how he did it. It seemed to me he wanted to make fun of him rather than anything, and i think the girlfriend saw that at the end.

As a former Ranger, I really don't give a shit about this. Not sure why, but I never give it a thought. i just ask for their USARA card if I have doubts and want to call them out. http://www.ranger.org/ and I can show them my Life Member card.
