people please ! assholes are in every country don't be so arrogant and say that Americans this and Polish people that.

I have friends all over the world. I would not have them long if I stereo-typed an entire country.

I don't get it. It's a dashed WHITE line in the middle. I don't see what the truck driver's done wrong - I would have done the exact same things (US). Or maybe I should just read the DMV manual again.

ADoA, PLEASE reread your DMV manual again. You might find something in there saying that those are AMERICAN road rules. Don't be so naive as to think the rest of the worlds' cultural rules are anything like yours.
Still, I don't think any government would approve of that trucker's driving. It makes me wish I could safely shoot out his tire and make him get off the road. Maybe I'll bring my paintball gun along on road trips so I could at least tag the bad drivers and vent some frustration.

Hey, DY, PLEASE don't patronize me. I have lived, traveled and driven in more countries you can imagine, on 3 different continents. Most regulations are international, especially the most basic ones. You won't see a traffic light with blue, pink and white lights anywhere, nor a triangular stop sign. Some countries have exceptions. I guess in this case it's the US that's exceptional.

ADoA,

You would happily drive into oncoming traffic making them move over onto the harder shoulder so you could overtake?

How many traffic accidents did you cause while living, traveling and driving around these continents?

ADoA,
I apologize for the patronizing. I was feeling frustrated by the overwhelming ignorance people (not just you) show of themselves online. Is it too much to ask that people review what they've written before posting? Though I don't always do it, I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. So, sorry 'bout that. But don't assume that because I apologize, there's no truth in what I said.

Webby, how did you reach that conclusions exactly? As a foreign driver you look up the different regulations if on an international driver's license, or obtain a local driver's license. For a complete native to make this mistake, not seeing he's forcing vehicles off the road, it is something completely different.

DY, calling people ignorant based on lack of knowledge of laws in other countries IS a bit ignorant, and irresponsible. I did not say what the regulations were, I just said what I said based on my own personal experience. Not checking does not make anyone ignorant, except on that very subject, in a foreign country. I can just as easily say that you're ignorant for not knowing what an encoding altimeter is or a Mode-S transponder.

By the way, not sure if this is Poland or another country, but if really Poland, feel free to look up some videos. You'd be able to see roads with the exact same white dashed line as in this video, but one way.

ADoA, suck it up, accept your shortcomings, and let it go.
I don't want to argue semantics nor the variances of perspective.
I've accepted my faux pas and apologized.
Know that being ignorant is not the same as knowing your own ignorance.
It sounds like your pride has been hurt, lashing out won't help you.
Feel free to post a response, but know that I won't read it. I don't see any value in talking with you on this subject anymore.

Didn't lash out. Just didn't appreciate your unbelievable ARROGANCE. Don't pretend you are smarter than anyone else. I don't care that you apologized, the fact remains is that you're clueless as to what say and insist on sticking to it. I already made my point. If the full meaning of the word is considered, you are as ignorant as I am. This is not arguable (proven by your complete disregard to what I wrote and decision to respond to something else), so I really don't expect a meaningful response from you. I see no value in you responding but value in you realizing that you should respond with less arrogance, less intent to offend and with words chosen carefully and appropriately. It will backfire otherwise. At least take it under consideration. You may not be used to people actually responding to your wrongful criticism, but I don't like you and never planned to quietly let it go. Now, after you were obviously proven wrong, whether you realize it or not, you can suck it up. And on second thought I urge you not to respond because frankly I feel really bad having to argue with you here.

Shortcoming... for not doing fact finding for something I didn't even state was a fact. I think your shortcomings surpass mine.

Comments stating that the truck driver was going into oncomming traffic forcing cars over + your comment quoted above is how I reached my conclusion.

There's a reason "(US)" was added.

Whether the US or another country, I would definitely stop if I thought something was wrong. Regardless, as I said previously (after your post), you need to at least go over the local laws before you take on the driver's seat.

And what makes you so sure I care what you think? It didn't involve you so you shut the hell up. Don't push your nose where it doesn't belong. Attention seeker. Reponding to an inactive thread to start sh*t up. Perfect example of a retard. If you don't care what I think stop reading, moron.
