This happens on Portland roads too when it freezes after a rain. And because of the hills, people's cars really get moving and there is nothing they can do but watch them hit someone else's car. It sucks. But that's why we have insurance and why it is important to listen to the weather person to anticipate the slick conditions and stay off the roads then.
