73 people died and hundreds were injured after the riots broke up in Port Said Stadium, Egypt. Fans of the home team, Al-Masry, stormed on to the field following a rare 3-1 win against Al-Ahly, Egypt's top team. They then chased players and fans from the rival team.

this may have had more to do with the recent political unrest than merely being about football. very sad either way.

So sad that so many people couldn't stop and think for one second about the completely obvious fact that they're at a recreational sporting event to have fun and enjoy themselves. Instead they take it as their excuse to do.....the exact opposite?

@multiuseless

football world saw worse tragedies .. for example in Peru , when Peru played against Argentina where more than 300 people got killed ! Or in Poland where hooligans were slaughtering each other with Machete on the street... holligans are everywhere and killings on football matches happened everywhere !! why did u bring religion when it has nothing to do with this thing !? Stop spreading hate towards Islam!
