By the looks of it they are juveniles. Probably still not quite figured out that they are the largest and most badass land predators on the planet.

I have worked up on the "North Slope" of Alaska
and I have had limited contact w/these
creatures
this guy is utilizing "populous" methods in correctly
he's lucky to survive
