I'd be nervous too. probably a bad neighborhood with people lurking around in the dark.

It's a shame she has to purposely antagonize them while trying to keep HER neighborhood safe.

that woman is an idiot. 99% of plice videos are shot from a far distance, so the police cant do anything. she had no reason to sand right there and do it. if a cop asks you toleave or back up you do it. nothing will happpen to the police officer, he'll probley geta pat on thebck for doing his job and not going apeshit. cops are assholes because of people like this, who feel the need to question everything.

...kinda funny though "i called 911!"

Fuck police brutality!

The woman is on her propriety and has every right to videotape them! Moreover in most American states it is legal to film in public places!
I have to agree that the woman is a bit annoying, but the cops shouldn't have arrested her for that... unless they have something to hide...

When I saw the title I thought the cops were idiots but after watching the video she deserved it. She was purposely antagonizing the police officer who was quite polite to her and asked her to please go inside and she refused!! Serves her right!!!

It is Illegal on some states, they argument that they never gave their expressed permission to be recorded.

I call BS, but yeah, most cops become assholes due to people who don't follow Suggestions/Orders when given to them, they are public servants, who work for your safety.

And lets be sincere, ppl film the police to catch anything, even if slight that could be taken as abuse to defend someone who has committed a crime.

She wouldn't back off, so I'd say they were in the right for arresting her.

This trend is rising. Cops are VIOLATING their oath to serve, protect (the woman videotaping is part of 'the people' they are suppose to be protecting), and upholding the Constitution.

She had every right to be on a public sidewalk while videotaping.
that being said, she had every right to videotape from her yard.

It is COMPLETELY legal to videotape police performing their duties. They are using threats and coercion to try and control the populace.

If the officer doesn't feel safe, then it's time to go back to being a box boy at the local grocery store, or whatever that officer did before going into the police academy.

More and more police recruits are in it for the power, NOT to help.

I wonder if the D.A. followed-through with charges? If so, it won't look good for his re-election campaign when the citizenry realize their police are abusing their powers and becoming tyrants.

It's only going to get worse.

kutiekris420,

Really? You honestly believe someone needs to be arrested for being annoying? The real question to be asking is what law did she break to be arrested? What was she ACTUALLY guilty of? Police do not have the right to force you to stay in your home and while there are some local laws that say you cant video tape an officer, I believe most of those laws are constitutionally invalid. If he felt threatened then he needs to have backup or proof but a hunch or feeling does not give him the authority to relieve her of her rights and yes, that is exactly what he did when he arrested her.

absolutely disgusting
