Traffic Flash Mob

Omg, what an organization

You kids have to get a hobby.

Normally I'm a fan of these flash mob antics, but that was just dumb. Apart from pissing everyone else off and risking lives what exactly was the point?

too much free time and gas !

This was the whole city. cars stopped in their tracks on both sides. Was it a moment of memory for something? Surely one of our members has the answer to this mystery!

Its NOT a flash mob. Its Yom Hazikaron - Israel Memorial Day - at 11 am sirens signal a 1 minute of period silent remembrance. Even drivers in cars stop (as you see) and get out of their cars. You can hear the sirens in the video. When the sirens stop, the people get back in their cars and go on about their business.

this usually happens here in turkey at every 10th of november at 9:05.

I don't imagine that we could pull something like this off, America. Although, I did notice a few movers. I guess there just can't be 100 percent participation.
