Its Pidgeon Racing, they are all tagged with a number, every bird belongs to a club member, when they return to the coop the owner takes the number down makes a claim, the first one in is the winner, at least I think thats how it works, racing Pidgeons is very pooular in parts of the UK and the birds change hands for a lot of money!
