Why is this unique? Octopus, dolphins, parrots, elephants, goats, lions, hyenas and other predators, insects such as ants and bees have demonstrated problem solving abilities.

People that take the intelligence of animals as somehow inferior need to consider - perhaps it is their own perception as inferior.

It may cruel and it may be political incorrect, but I would like to see stuff like this compared to humans. Humans are intelligent, yes, but have become so dependant on apperatus' and specially crafted tools made for a certain purpose that a lot of us may have forgotten to think creativly and productive... or am I completely wrong :P ?
