I'm brazillian and that's what really happened here:
there was this eletronic store in a city far from civilization (So Paulo or Rio de Janeiro), they did this crazy discount, selling LCD TV's for something around US$150 (hell cheap here, don't forget our cost of living is way cheaper than US, and eletronics here are more expensive than US due to lack of industry and technology stuffs but its economics talk) ... so...
LOTS of people came to buy these TVs and they couldn't handle this ... huh... sales... so everyone wanted to buy it... and they got mad! LOL as you can see...
