I think that , based on this post, if a girl says buy me a drink, than we should say give me a blow job,..... it is quick and to the point and we both get what we want, I know this sounds crude but if a girl can flirt to get a drink than a guy has a right to assume that any girl expecting you to buy them a drink in this situation must understand that the guy who says yes does so in hopes of some type of sex. So she should not be suprised by this request and actually expect to be treated like the shallow slut that she is.

Merry Christmas

As a girl, I agree! Seriously, itøs pretty rude to ask for a drink like that - personally, if I like guy, I will insist on buying my own damn drinks; or, even buy him one.

Sweet story in a way :P

Hm. I think the little tart needed her teeth kicked down her throat. I'm a woman and I dsespise this kind of f'ing idiotic booze prostitutes. In all honesty, hope she cried herself to sleep that night, and that she hates you, telling her story of how she was "brutally insulted by this gigantic moron at a pub" to her equally retarded friends. Props to you!

The only thing more annoying than women at bars that expect you to buy them a drink just for being within 10 feet of them are the greedy shot-girls at clubs that walk up to you and say "You're going to buy me a shot.". No, I'm going to ignore you and go back to enjoying my drink, asshole. It should be legal to slap the drink tray out of their hand when they do that.

Hey, I think that was nice doing that for the out-of-place girl. It sounds like something that would happen to me. My friends would persuade me to go then when we get there id be standing there nervously and having no idea what to do. I bet you made her feel better about herself and more confident in going to social places. I'm a girl but I'd never expect a drink or even (god forbid) if i did I wouldnt't say "So are you going to buy me a drink or not?" It's just wrong, especially if you just met. 04

Haha, I do this sort of thing to "hot" girls at the club all the time. Check them out just long enough for them to know that I noticed them, and then go to the juicy, sexy, jiggling gorgeous chubby. Damn, I love chubby girls, and I love crushing over-inflated egos. Unfortunately, sometimes the chubby girls turn me down :( but good for them, cuz I'm worthless anyway; what makes it unfortunate is if the "hot" girl sees me get rejected, then my scheme fails lol.

Sounds fair to me. In my younger days, I pulled this crap with guys all the time. Most guys bought me the drink, but I actually had a few say no for this very reason.

I'm a female and completely agree. I've had plenty of men OFFER to buy me a drink, but I find it completely rude and trashy to ask, demand, or expect one. I have never gone to a bar or club without cash for my own drinks and I have bought a drink for a guy on more than one occasion if we hit it off.

I have never understood why men behave like ATM machines at the bar just to get in a chicks pants. It's ridiculous and 9 times out of 10 it doesn't work.

Bravo! I have a similar philosophy about allowing a man to buy me a drink - to some, if not most, men - it instantly creates an implied obligation to, at the very least, talk to you. What if I don't want to talk to you? What if I JUST want to talk to you, and nothing else? Good for you for taking the high road!

I'm a girl and I TOTALLY agree with this post. I hate bitches like that because they make all women look bad, and give the impression that all women are just waiting for a guy to swoop up and buy us a drink. F that, I'd rather show that I am independent and can afford my own drinks thank you very much. Of course I won't turn down a free drink (but that also doesn't mean you're getting in my pants), but I'm definitely not waiting like a hungry vulture for a poor shmuck. Kudos to this guy for ousting that bitch.

haha youre kind of a genius. because when i go out to bars, i pull the "buy me a drink" card. except in my defense, i do only do it on douchebags. because I've dated one. and I now enjoy making fun of them to their face while they have no idea, because theyre too busy buying me drinks trying to get in my pants. its kind of a passive aggressive revenge. but anyways, you speak the truth. when a girl digs the guy, she will buy him a drink. or at least i do. and also because im usually drunk at that point

For women like that, I have learned to respond with:

Her: "Buy me a drink..."
Me: "Have sex with me right now in the bathroom."

Not one girl has taken me up on that...hence, no bathroom adventure, but I have yet to lose money on the deal...

Right on.

Now tweak the situation just slightly and review the conversation again. A complete stranger approaches you in a bar:
"So are you going to give me $6 or what?"
"Sorry, I don't give money to strangers. Just kind of my policy."
"Seriously, I want money for a drink. What's your problem?"

Why would anyone think that is reasonable?

I agree that the women who do this expect to be taking advantage of you, but that doesn't mean that you have to let them keep the control in this game.

Instead of just refusing them a drink outright, try mocking (poking fun at) them for expecting a free drink, it puts you in control and able to swing things in a favourable way for you. If they're willing to take advantage of countless men every time they're at the bar, don't be afraid to knock them down to size.

And if you do things in this manner, you'll have a chance of meeting their not-so-skanky friend who wasn't willing to take your money, but still wants to have fun at the bar...

Just a thought

you suck ass
you think you're a real man, a real gentleman for buying a fat chic a drink - well big woohoo to you asshole - you're the kind of guy that wants people to think you're wonderful, but youd have no interest in fu**ing the fatty yourself... the fact you palmed her off to "an open-minded" friend details the fact you are not so deep and want others to know youd not really be keen on fucking fat chics, you only want the superficial gratification that can be granted by raising her hopes by buying her a drink.
you are a fuc**ng loser - that chic was insulted she didnt get a free drink because she had no interest in fuc*ing you, and was pissed she wasted so much time talking to your lame ass.
i feel like my life is worse from having read your rant. you sicken me
