And for all you "Shopped" Callers, I know you think it is quite impossible for a machine to make something this precise, but I have some news for you, these machines like this guys used, are some on the most accurate and precise machines in the world, so give it a rest already, it is not photoshopped, besides I know a guy personally who works in a machine shop, and I have seen this kind of work done.

My only beef with the design is the fact that this robot is a character from the short circuit movies revamped to be something new but is in fact unoriginal...perhaps disney could spend its billions on new ideas...but this person's creativity is worth applauding.

To the people saying this is photoshopped, you are fools. Nobody would go to that much effort to photoshop images of metal being cut out, and then manipulated on a lathe (amongst other things).

It is quite clearly real. There is a picture for every step in creating this thing, if you can't tell the difference, you've got an eye problem.

I think I'm in love...

I worked as a machinist trained as an engineer, and as snow melts as the sun shines, I can honestly say this is one fantastic piece of machining and manufacture,I made and machined parts for aircraft, so I know about precision lathe and milling work.
AND, NO WAY was that " Photoshopped", more power to the man's elbow for doing such a fantastic job !

I saw these pictures on the original site. The guy works for a custom design firm in Russia and he made this for fun for his own PC. He does make money doing this stuff...this was just for fun though...and you would have to get Disney's consent to mas produce a Wall-E computer and they would take such a royal bite out of his profits that it would not even be worth it.

No pariah, the arms and parts do not move on their own. The creator posed it like that. Nothing on that case moves under its own power except for the fans and CD tray :)

I know my way around a machine shop, and drilling all those holes would drive me nuts. Nicely done.
