#3 is from really cool 80's alter/experimental band Buldozer - kind of Frank Zappa style music.

Most of the rest of them are hillbillies and gypsies.

I particularly like the way number 10 is copping a feel in a stereotypically communist way.

And so many other gems, and indeed what do they sound like.

Answers on a postcard, care of Acidcow......

hahahah Vuco II, hilarious, i was at his concert few weeks ago..hah..anyway, some of these musicians are really icons in ex yu countries. you wouldn't believe but Mio Kova once filled stadium for his concert. than Oliver had soled out performace in New York Carnegie Hall, Lisica (Josipa Lisac) is icon of style and has really special voice. eljko Bebek was member of popular group Bijelo Dugme and he still performs and has soled out concerts. So many good ex yu groups..i could go on for hours because i mostly listen to ex yu rock music (known as new wave) :))

Agreed, Tino was a Spanish act, originally a member of a very famous kid band in Spain. Nothing Jugoslavian about him. Awful cover, though.
