The first picture is of a stuntmans family celebrating bonfire night (5th November) with an alternative bonfire.

All the kids have been brought up to understand the basics of stunts, and it is the children on fire running round the unlit bonfire. Odd, maybe even scary, but this picture ran in several newspapers here with that as the explanation.

I could go one of those marshmallows now actually.

The photo with the dancers is at a dancing school in Japan, they develop robot dancing partners, less expensive than human teachers :)

And the soldiers with the dog is an exercise for army / rescue dogs, when they have to learn to be carried in any conditions

the last pic is from istanbul,turkey... there was an art week so one of the artist made that :) i didnt understand the meanning! :D

the one with the massive gas container on the back of a motorcycle is actually very very common in Dominican Republic where I'm from, they often carry them without any straps using just the weight of the actual container to keep it in place, I would't be surprised if that pic was taken there!

The image with Mike Tyson is from him promoting a new show he wants to do about pigeon racing (which is wtf? in itself). I guess he really likes pigeons.
The pi cake is obviously from Pi Day, 3/14. Many of the students at my university baked pi pies (haha) or pi cakes.
