It has a simple storage, a makeshift washroom, a kitchen, and a sleeping area.
The roof acts as a rain catcher which collects free water.

Obviously, these are supposed to be pushed around or the contents will get stolen. Are these things supposed be lined up triple parked on streets in front of soup kitchens?

Better than a cardboard box.

Jimmy

Are you actually complaining about an incredible act of charity?

You need to take some meds for that dark negative empty miserable bitchy attitude there grumpy.

This is a great idea! It would give people a bit of shelter and a decent place to store their belongings. They would have a place to clean up a bit, too.

Great idea!

It would be more practical if the mobile house would have bigger wheels!

Hey Fred -

Instead of being the quasi-brilliant counterpoint to every comment I make, consider how these "shelters" are to be used.

They are designed to be portable living spaces, but they don't collapse like a tent. So that means whatever contents are in them have to be carried around. A tent is portable - it is meant to be transported in a way that is truly feasible by collapsing down to small package. But that means whatever contents the owner has must be disposable.

These ""shelters" are not disposable, they are meant to provide a measure of permanence. To abandon it is akin to abandoning a car. Let's see how "geat" this idea is when you see these strewn about in your town, vandalized and burned out as the Oh-so-thoughtful humanitarian version of the homeless shopping cart.
