Zhongdong village in Guizhou Province, China is a settlement that's located inside a natural cave. It is home to 100 people and the cave sits at 6,000 feet above sea level and it takes a one hour hike to get there. At one point the community had a school but the Chinese government shut the school down forcing children to walk two hours every morning to get an education at another school. Villagers have been trying to convince the government to build a road that leads to the cave for easy access.
