This sounds a lot like some woman indirectly bitching about how terrible her life is.

Passive-aggressive for the win!

For example, the first panel is often used as a sign of how 'unequal' men and women are treated in public, and what expectations there are.
IN REALITY, if you're not superficial, you'd see that:
- the response to the man is probably because he's obviously incompetent at what he's doing. A nice person won't criticize, so they offer a word of encouragement.
- the response to the man recognizes that she's probably USUALLY stuck doing that, so the comment is more of a 'what a great job you're doing' comment of respect for her ability.

Or, you could just take it as sexism, if you're life is focused on being offended by anything/everything.
