A redditor named CynicalSoup decided to take a little adventure through his local cemetery, and unfortunately he let his curiosity get the best of him.

Earlier this month, CynicalSoup paid a visit to a local cemetery somewhere in his home state of Alabama.

As you might imagine, the visit started out simply enough.

That is, until he noticed that a couple of the above-ground vaults weren't sealed quite as well as they should've been.

A few of them seemed to have been broken into over the years.

Looking a bit more closely at some of them, CynicalSoup was greeted with this sight: the bleach-white horror of human bones.

Luckily, no skeleton monsters chased CynicalSoup out of the cemetery. Actually, getting to see some human bones is something very out of the ordinary in a modern American cemetery. I guess that's kind of cool.

that would be amazing

also, if it's in Alabama, that cemetery has probably been flooded a few times since 1817.
it's probably just erosion that unearthed the vaults.
