This is not a Japanese sword. It is like a toy. An actual Japanese sword matches, bends hard steel and a soft iron by using steel that melts the iron sand, strikes with the hammer single-mindedly, beats, and is long and slenderly a forge of extending (It is longer from the one in the photograph) and hardness.
The one in the photograph is not at all seen in the Japanese sword even if it does from the face.
