Google’s DeepDream AI was released in 2015 and it's capable of creating some pretty awesome art. Google recently held a fundraiser in San Francisco where they sold art that the AI created. The company raised $97,605 which was then donated to the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts.

Nothing id like to buy.

Also it seems to take a picture and merge it with others to create a picture, rather than create a new picture. Sure it uses a bunch of tools and filters to get them to look like that, but its not creating something completely new.
