Lenny,
I hate war too. There were at least 6 documented attempts to kill Hitler. Some of them were from the allies and most of them were from german soldiers and officers. Obviously they failed.

Had Hitler stayed in alliance with or at least not have gone to war with russia he may have won the war. Many experts believe this to be true. Thank God for the russians what tragic and enormous suffering and loss they endured.
