Well, I have to tell you something. If the only way how to make your kids smile is give them a console, you are a bad parent. If you want them to smile like that, be with them. Take time for them. Don't set them in front of a telly, just to have a couple of hours free time for your self. If you have children, you don't have the right to free time. You don't get free time. All your time and I mean 100 percent of your time HAS to be offered to your children. It's then, that they grow up to be good people, when you give them time and thus don't have to resort to giving them videogames to get rid of them for a while. This post is very dumb...

these are when home games were new... look at how thin the majority of the kids were back then. just saying.
