Except for major cities which suffered from bombings in WW2, Germany didn't really (speaking of buildings, not in civilians causalties terms) suffer from 20th's century's war.

But don't get me wrong, it's sad to imagine all the beautiful things destroyed by war, everywhere and from every war.
