Stuck Wreckers (8 pics)

Pics | 26 Feb, 2010 | Views: 7799 |  +18   |
It happened during the SpeedWeek 2007.
Ice was too thin and a motorhome got stuck.
Half an hour later a small yellow wrecker came for a rescue and also got stuck.
An hour later a large yellow wrecker tried to pull them out and also got stuck.
The funniest part was when it also happened to a large blue wrecker.
One motorhome and tree wreckers had to spent night in ice until they were rescued the next morning.

it is not the salt flats....the ground at Bonneville is as hard as a rock. I do not know what this is or where.

Yes it IS the salt flats at Bonneville. Easily told by the mountains in the background. It was 2008 and there was some rain, hence why the flats became muddy.

Nope, not salt flats (but the same mountain chain). This is the Playa outside of Pyramid Lake in Nevada (same place they have Burning Man, but this looks like it's in the fall, not the summer.
