I think that's the whole point - people are *supposed* to have a negative response to these ads. You don't revolt people away from cigarettes with sunshine and puppies.

i like it. it's clever since tobacco executives are old rich guys and even though smokers aren't blowing them they are paying for their hookers and trophy wives and just about everything else.

The ad (IMHO) is to inspire/promote conversation. By the way you all responded I think it worked.
