Age of consent should equivocate to a child's puberty. Puberty is nature telling us to reproduce before we get too old. Or, to put it more bluntly, "Time to f*ck!"

By trying to control sexuality, we are only losing control.

Imagine taking a society of say, 100 chimps, and denying them sex until the human equivalent of age eighteen. Put chastity belts on all the young males and females, and watch what happens. Surely someone has tried this?
