#1 Wrong. Some dogs, camels, deer, and ostriches are faster than us over marathon distances. In fact an Ostrich can run a marathon in about 45 minutes, considerably faster than any human can.
#7 Anything that takes fluid in and expels it out is a pump. Of course the heart is a pump. So what if the action it uses is a twisting action.

It doesn't say we're the fastest it says we can endure longer than any animal. Wichita is true. They are faster but their body will give up before ours. Except for these days where nobody can even last a block lol

@Slugsie I think you misunderstood what 1 says. It dosen't say we are the fastest in long distances. It says that we can run longer distances non stop.

There's just 1 "but" for #1. Humans (according to theory that is) can run better in warmer conditions (20-30 Celsius) than other animals. Animals like sled dogs would win in cold conditions for example.

#1 they don't say *fastest*. They say best DISTANCE runners, and that's true - over long distances (like the 100-mile megaraces) humans are faster than any other creature without wings. What they're talking about is persistence HUNTING...some primitive people literally hunt by chasing a creature without stopping for days until it simply lies down and dies.
