Awsome.
It's not just the photo in the end, but a lot more the whole process of creating, experimenting and doing stuff together, that makes it so cool. They've chosen to involve this little guy in doing something as a real 'crew' - threating him like a fully functioning (family) member and not like some lame-ass baby. What they're doing is neither hurting him, nor pushing him too far for his age. Instead, it sure develops his imagination and sociability, brings him closer to his family and gives him some nice skills for the future (team-mindedness, e.g.)
You should only read the joy of his face to know that.
