I would guess that any one who wore the cardboard masks were for guests that came in regular clothes instead of costumes.

oh yeah the Lea slave costume always rules! I think i was like 8 or 9 when return of the jedi came out and I think seeing Leah in the costume made me go into puberty like a strike of lightning. Lets just say I started locking my bedroom door.
