#1. Crime rate is low? That's not a reason to stop putting people in jail. The (private) prison industry increase the profits like any other industry. 10% more inmates this year.

I wonder if the cases of local US judges would be reviewed how many of this would be dismissed as abuses.

Kangaroo's can also stop the progress of a fetus during a drought or late rain season.the fetus doesn't die but it doesn't grow either and when things get better it restarts the growing process.

#2 is incorrect. Bulldogs were bred to protect their owners (farmers) from bulls. They have very muscular backs, exaggerated canines top and bottom and folds that kept blood out of their eyes and nose and mouth. When a farmer was threatened by a bull in the field, the bulldog would put itself between the master and the bull. The reason the rings were in the bulls noses was due to this eventuality. The bulldogs would jump and bite down on the ring. The bull would then attempt to shake the dog off by throwing it's head up and down. The bulldog would hold on with it's exaggerated canines to the ring, with the blood from the bulls nose flowing harmlessly from it's folds. The bull would attempt to break the bulldog's back with the up and down throws of its head. The bulldogs back is very strong, however, and eventually the bull would get extremely tired and sit the bulldog down. At this point, the bulldog will start to back away with the ring still in its mouth until the bull would lay down. At this point, the master (farmer) would go about his business and when he was finished, he would cross the fence and whistle for the dog, who would release and come to heel.
