I don't think they keep any dangerous convicts in a prison like this.
It looks like you can leave it any time.
The fence is not high enough, no guards, etc.

its an "open prison" for not so violent crimes, u can easely escape, but if u do u'll get to a real prison and get but fckd

It's basically for people who broke the speed limit (you go to jail here if you go a certain percantage over the speedlimit), DUI and petty crimes. I mean, you have to be on a waiting list to go to jail. All the people I've known for driving too fast told me they just make pallets, read a shit-load of books and eat a lot of great food. Another guy I knew who was in for DUI told me that the guards ignore you if you smoke weed because it makes you mellow, but if they catch you with alcohol, you're screwed. Seriously, it's a joke.
Fun fact; a life sentence in Norway is 21 years, which in practicality means 18 years and your up for paroll in about 7 years.

we really have a bad system in the US. You can get life for drugs but be a chold molester they let u out early because of over crowding!
