We will risk our lives for an animal, but when my cousin was in Iraq, he had to refuse to treat a little girl that was injured by shrapnel from a home made bomb. My cousin found her a few days later, dead in a ditch from sepsis. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they saved the deer, but we need to put more value on HUMAN life.
