If someone is telling you to wear a helmet, there's probably a good reason for it. They may be uncomfortable but they can also save your life.

not all of these are hits. and the ones that are, probably deflected before impact with helmet. The common 7.62 will go right thru helmet and head.. I've seen it more than once.

why are we surprised? Kind of what it is for, isn't it? -Lewis is correct on this one, too, I have seen it as well...not a pretty sight.
