Re 18, nice fact but internationally it was agreed to spend 0,7% GDP of a first world's country on International Aid and the USA is not among the list of nations achieving that.

2 - A friend of mine won a scholarship to the US, doing final year there. Said he didnt have to study. It was so simple compared to what he was doing in Ireland. He was surprised that his fellow students had to study each day and some still didnt pass.

15 - The unemployment rate cannot be compared, as many countries have different criteria for being unemployed. One of the first things i learned in statistics.

17 - In the Inequality Human Development Index (IHDI) the US ranks at 28 and iceland at number 6 (norway is #1). The other figure can only be used as the potential of human development if there was no inequality, which there is, no doubt.
