Rick is homeless and his pitbull Karma is his best friend. When Rick saw that Karma had fallen into a dirty river he risked his life to save Karma's. Rick ended up with a nasty infection but he didn't care. All he cared about was that his dog was safe.

Best to both. Life is what you give in some cases, and this dog is no better off with someone that owns "Roof." Be what he may or may not, the owner loves him and feeds him. More power to whatever trails they wander.
