2 things 1. kia is not a bad car....it is no status symbol but neither was nissan/honda/toyota and now those companies have evolved into Infinity,Acura,Lexus respectively. Also VW started Porsche and now owm Audi,Rolls royce and Lamborgini.

2. If this person owns a kia the may not be able to afford another one for quite some time so they need to take care of it.
