this is so true but they are starting to put less ink in the new printers plus it's bad for land fills

The ink cartridges in new printers are only 10-20% full. It's cheaper per page to by the refill cartridges. They sell the printers below cost so they can make money later on ink. Years ago, Polaroid used to sell cameras below cost so they could make money selling film.

Yup, I switched to b/w laser too. You can be a refilled toner cartridge for like $25 and the things last forever - I think mine's going on close to 3 years of use now.

Bought a nearly new b/w laser printer with a full toner cartridge inside for the same price as a new toner cartridge. It's really the cheapest alternative in the long run both for people that don't print much (ink doesn't dry) and people that print much (cheaper ink and it's faster).

I have a Canon Pixma IP1500 for refill I buy a bottle of ink for it and it costs only 10$ and it lasts for about 30 to 40 refills :D. To refill it's very easy i just drop the ink with a syringe on a sponge from the cartridge and i can refill the color cartridge too it has 3 holes with 3 color sponge where the ink get's out so i drop there the ink it's really cheap
