well, it's settled. the light stays on tonight

Oh my gosh! Creepy. But this reminds me, when my nephew was three (he's almost six now) he used to talk a lot about a lady who sat on his bed at night and smiled at him until he fell asleep. One day I asked him for details about the lady and he told me that it was an old lady, with long white braids and that sometimes she carried a rooster with her. I asked him if she was scary and he said no, she was nice, but he was scared of her husband. He said the lady's husband was mean and liked to throw stuff on the floor.

Some time after that, I was alone in my nephew's room, fetching a jacket for him and one of his toys fell from the bed. I almost pissed my pants. I cannot bring myself to step into that room again, even though it's been a long time since he's mentioned the old lady with the rooster.

well, it's settled. I'll keep away from little kids from now on.

I used to scare my mom by telling her stuff like that. I have absolutely no memory of that, but she says I used to give details of people that died and I never met, like my grand father.
