Big vehicles with powerful engines to drive at snail pace at the highway. 125kmh is not fast!
Sports car with automatic transmissions? if you don't know how to drive, why buying a Corvette?
All the patriotic feeling and almost all belongings come from China? try to buy something made in USA...
And fast food is not food at all, few families eat home made food.

When my European friends visit me in California, they always mention how cold the grocery stores are. And I, having lived in Austria for some time, agree with them. It's like walking into a refrigerator.

Also, the M&Ms they sell in Austria are way better than the ones in the US.

#3 - exactly? Most of the time we don't, but if you're really worried about it, it's not that hard to estimate in your head

#4 - sort of like #3, you get the hang of estimating in your head

#6 - This was a decision made by our government made back in like the 1940s or 50s with developing a nationwide road travel system, and now if you don't have a car you're pretty much f*cked. Most cities don't even bother with stuff like sidewalks or bike lanes any more because it's so expected that everybody will always drive everywhere.

#11 - I can't even remember the last time I ate a pickle. Or saw somebody eating a pickle. I think this is mostly a restaurant thing.

#12 - Nobody gives a rat's ass about college football except people that live in states that don't have an NFL team. Like Oklahoma. Holy crap Oklahoma is annoying about college football.

#14 - The bread products are sweet because they're loaded with sugar. You have to pay extra to get bread products that aren't, a sad truth.

#19 - I never really understood the point of having school children recite the pledge of alliegance either. Most of them have no clue what they're saying. And sometimes confuse "indivisible" with "invisible."

Kakarotto I've lost the battle of telling everyone that America is not a country but an entire continent.

So whatever, if they like calling the U.S. "America" it's fine by me :04: live and let live :04:
