#17 is the bus that started the civil war in Lebanon in 1975 and lasted till 1990. (I am Lebanese that's why I know).

A group of Palestinians used to travel in that bus everyday and whenever they reached the same town whose citizens were against the Palestinian invasion, they would start reaching to the windows and screaming Pro-Palestinians slogans and chants to troll the people living in that area.

After about a week or so of the same thing happening everyday, a group of the people who live there got together, and waited for the bus, with fire arms. When the bus reached the city, they stopped it, got on board, and killed every one inside.

This was the spark that started the initial war between the Lebanese and the Palestinians, which later turned into a religious war between Christians and Muslims, which later turned into a sect war, Christians among themsevles and Muslims among themselves...

And now, 40 years after this event, we are still struggling to pick up the pieces, living in constant fear, poverty & high rates of unemployment.

Sorry for the long post :04:
