science says that when your body feels that this gonna be the end it excretes a chemical or drug that makes you feel that everything is not as bad as it seems and calms you down compeletely. some say that this causes these feelings explained above.i really hope that there is more to it though and you do get to somewhere that is nice

I once had this kind of experience, but it was not a near death experience, as far as I know.

Some time ago, I had a panic attack while washing the dishes. I passed out and as I fell to the floor unconscious, I must have hit my head with the counter.

Before I woke up and regained consciousness, I experienced most of the things described above. It's something incredible.

But I'm sure it all must be in the brain, and its chemicals. No otherworldly thing.
