Giant Transparent Casket with a Bike (6 pics)

Billy Standley was buried riding Harley in a custom transparent casket. He came up with the idea 18 years ago and worked on it for years. The casket was made out of plexiglass, with wood and steel rods reinforcing its bottom.

OK, there are 2 sides to this argument. 1 would be WTF, if you loved to ride that much wouldn't you want to share that with someone else and pass on your ride. Why take a perfectly good ride with you like that with all the trophies none the less. 2. Ah, ok now you condemed a perfectly good ride to share your fate. And I notice he didn't take his other ride with him on his final journey, his wife/girlfriend/boy friend. :09:

Hey he liked to ride. That's how he will be remembered, even as he is being lowered into the ground. I just hope the top doesn't decay/rust over the next 10-20 years. Some poor grounds person mowing the lawn or something ends up sinking into the hole and meeting the riders remains!
