well all that fresh fish now will go to waste as norwegians like their fish rotten, infact being fermented in the belly of other dead animals :10: look it up

I don't think there were alive when they froze, certainly not "flash frozen." They at least had time to roll on their sides or go belly-up first, which is a pretty good indication that they were dead before the water froze.
