This shanty town is located on the Emoya Estate in South Africa. It is made up of corrugated huts known as “shanty’s”. The huts are located on a five star luxury game reserve that sleeps up to 52 guests and each shanty has running water, Wi-Fi and electricity. It costs $80 a night to stay there. It's where rich people can live like the poor.

Its not called shanty's. This is, but the real informal house is called a "shack". Now, in this shack, every thing was stolen or bought from some one that stole it. They don't pay water and electricity, the tax payer does. So basically if you don't mind living like a hobo, move to South Africa, get a shack, and start living the good life.

I'm from SA. There are squatter camps every few 100km, this is ridiculous.

Is there a projects hotel in the U.S?
