this just tears me up especially the girl lying on he grave of her lost love...fuck wars...

Not sure #18 should really be there. The young girl in the picture is Talia Castellano who has neuroblastoma and leukaemia and has made a name for herself with makeup tutorials on youtube. Her saying, 'just keep swimming' is her message to carry on regardless.

Such dichotomy...

Most of the pictures are not from wars, but from slaughters against civilians. They are from what USA calls "pacification" when in reality is a chase for oil, drugs and selling/testing weaponry.

Poignant, yes.

But, AC, while many young woman are misguided by greed and "glamour", etc of today's media and technology, they don't CAUSE wars and slaughters. They are so far removed from the depicted tragedies and have a right to miss who they miss and feel what they feel.

Hopefully they will grow up and become socially moral and responsible as guests on this earth but as little girls, let them keep their innocence please. It will be stolen from them soon enough.
