Internet dating? More like very expensive BLIND dating, that guy has got to have a lot of money to waste. I mean, IF this is true, because I doubt someone is that naive.

Is there a picture of HIM? How does HE look if he goes meeting girls after seeing a single portrait photo. I mean, if he has to pay 1000 dollars to find a decent looking woman then what to say.

I'm actually very compassionate about both parties. Because they both have plenty of mental and "inner" issues to resolve before finding a perfect mate. Also, you gotta be a real douchebag to post someone's picture on the internet with "I ended up with THAT" - people are not products.

its a lose lose situation.. he is cold for judging her looks and she is wrong for mis-representing herself. I think I would try to be friends with her since they already very close. I also respect the guy's decision to break the relationship off as she lied in a major way.

It is sad. For both of them. Honesty is the best policy, and from my myriad experiences with internet dating, I've been fooled this way as well. I once fell for a guy online who played me like a fish on the line, and took over a month to finally ask for money. I'm not dumb, and I fell into his trap like a lemming over a cliff.
